Sutton Engineering Group recently completed the design, certification and manufacture of a new set of heavy duty storage racks for a client whose original racks had reached end of life after years of operational service.

Following engineering assessment and FEA review of the existing racks, Sutton developed and certified a new compliant rack system rated for a total combined load of 75 tonnes across four racks.

The project included fabrication, welding, QA inspections, abrasive blasting and application of a durable safety yellow industrial coating system prior to delivery.

The completed racks were delivered ready for deployment onsite, continuing SEG’s capability in engineered steel fabrication, industrial manufacturing and heavy structural projects.
