Sutton Engineering Group recently completed fabrication of wind girders for internal staging of three 10.5 metre diameter leaching tanks for a gold mining project in the Northern Territory.

These wind girders will be installed internally to provide temporary staging during tank construction, supporting safe access and stability throughout the build process.

This project forms part of an ongoing partnership, marking our eighth wind girder project delivered for this client over the past two years. During this period, SEG has supplied wind girders for 13 different tanks across projects in the Northern Territory, Western Australia, Victoria and New South Wales, supporting large scale mining and tank infrastructure developments nationwide.

All fabrication was completed at our St Marys facility, with curved sections rolled, assembled and welded in-house before preparation for oversized interstate transport and delivery to site. Our experience in tank infrastructure and staged assembly projects continues to support major government, water, energy and mining developments across Australia.
