At SEG, we take pride in delivering precision-engineered solutions for heavy industrial projects. Our latest achievement is a crane grillage for a project in Parramatta, demonstrating our expertise in large-scale fabrication and high strength welded beam construction.

This impressive structure, measuring 5.6m x 2.5m x 1.2m and weighing over 12.5 tonnes, was built using 1200WB 455kg, fabricated and sub-arc welded by SEG in-house at our St Marys Workshop. The project required extensive full penetration welding, with 100% of the welds independently tested to ensure the highest quality and structural integrity.

Finished with a high build primer and a top coat of 2 pack Dulux Weathermax HBR White for long-term durability, this project is a testament to our expertise in grillage and custom welded beam fabrication.
