Sutton Engineering Group completed the full design, certification and manufacture of over 100 heavy duty transport stools, each engineered for a 200 tonne load rating to support vertical compressive loading applications.

All works were delivered in house, beginning with engineering design and certification to meet client specifications. DN700 pipe was sourced processed using a rotator for controlled oxy cutting to length. Each stool was fabricated through the welding of top and bottom plates and gussets, ensuring dimensional accuracy and structural integrity across the production run.

Following fabrication, the assemblies were abrasively blasted to Class 2.5 surface preparation and coated with a custom Jotun protective paint system, including custom yellow primer and top coat in the client’s custom colour matched Ferrari yellow finish. Final works included stencil painting of logo and identification labelling and preparation for transport.

This project demonstrates SEG’s integrated capability across engineering, heavy fabrication, finishing and quality control, delivering high-capacity structural equipment ready for deployment.
