Sutton Engineering Group recently completed fabrication repairs and refinishing works on an Isuzu tipper body for a neighbouring landscape contractor.

The scope included removal of the tipper body from the chassis to allow repair and replacement of the upper headboard and side wings, which had sustained wear from repeated plant and material impact. New components were fabricated in-house using heavy-duty wear resistant plate and SHS, followed by welding repairs to the rear tailgate and hinge assemblies.

The tipper body then underwent full internal and external abrasive blasting to Class 2.5 surface preparation standard before application of a two-coat Glasurit paint system, comprising filler primer and Isuzu Arc White topcoat.

All fabrication, welding, blasting and painting works were completed at our St Marys workshop.
